Both the GeekVape Aegis Legend 2 and original Legend kit feature similar shapes and user interfaces, but there are some key differences between the devices.
While both are excellent sub-ohm vaping kits, the new GeekVape Aegis Legend 2 is 30% lighter and 20% smaller than the first Aegis Legend. The L200 also includes a new safety feature in the form of its 'A-lock' firing safety switch, which helps to prevent any accidental misfires. The Aegis L200 also has a higher IP protection rating, which makes it even more durable and long-lasting than the original Aegis Legend.
In short, if you're used to using the first Aegis Legend kit, then you might find the L200 provides a familiar vape just with a few upgrades and improvements.
The Aegis Legend 2 is designed for direct-to-lung vaping and uses sub-ohm coils, which is why nicotine salts and other vape juice with a high PG ratio wouldn't be compatible with this vape. Instead, we recommend using vape juice that contain a higher VG content such as shortfills.
The Aegis Legend 2 kit has five output modes: variable wattage, temperature control, TCR, bypass, and variable power curve. You can switch between these different modes by first pressing the fire button three times to enter the menu. Then, use the + and - buttons to scroll through the different modes. Once you've found the right one, you can use the + and - buttons again to alter the values within that mode and later use the fire button again to select the mode.
If you want to use any of the TC settings, press the fire button three times to select the mode and press the button again to scroll through the different settings.
As the Aegis Legend 2 is a mod vape, it might not be the best vape kit for completely fresh beginners. The Aegis L200 would be more suited for those who've spent a bit of time vaping and are ready to progress and upgrade their kit.
